Known as the "Sea of Seven Colors," San Andrés offers white sands and coconut-infused Raizal cuisine. Snorkel crystal-clear waters at Johnny Cay and The Aquarium. Getting around is simple—just rent a golf cart and explore.

Spratt Bight and the boardwalk
A wide, calm beach, perfect for your first dip; walk along the boardwalk at sunset and try the delicious "cocadas" (coconut candies).
Johnny Cay + The Aquarium (one day)
Leave early; turquoise water, white sands, and stingrays near The Aquarium. Bring cash and be respectful of the wildlife and coral.
West View and La Piscinita
Snorkel among colorful fish. We recommend: a life vest, water shoes, and your own mask.
Blow Hole
This is a marine geyser that shoots water and air through coral tunnels. Go during mid or high tide with some wind; keep your distance from the hole and put your phone away. There are nearby kiosks for a cold "cocoloco" (coconut cocktail) or fried snacks.
Quick tips
A tourist card is required; bring cash; use reef-safe sunscreen; the best way to get around is by golf cart; don't touch the starfish or break the coral.
